The Bourne Trilogy

Jason Charles Bourne (real name David Webb) is a fictional character of Robert Ludlum’s Novel and subsequent film adaptations. He first appeared in The Bourne Identity Novel (1980). This novel was adapted for television in 1988 and a film by the same name in 2002.

The character has since been in six sequels (the last four written by Eric Van Lustbader and, after The Bourne Identity (2002), in two movie sequels, The Bourne Supremacy (2004) and The Bourne Ultimatum (2007). Actor Matt Damon is also signed to reprise the role of Jason Bourne in a fourth film to be released in 2010, so far titled Bourne 4.
